Affirmations are the trend that is here to stay—and for a good reason! There is actual research that shows the “self-love” section of our brain is active when we speak positively about ourselves.

It can be easy to be self-critical, especially as moms. So how do you incorporate this powerful tool to combat negative thoughts? We’ll help you get started!

Here are 5 affirmations to say daily:

  1. My children are happy to have me as their mother, no one can love them the way I do.

  2. I am capable of raising my children into beautiful human beings.

  3. I am more than a mother.

  4. My goals are important and always will be.

  5. Taking care of my needs is vital to my ability to take care of my children’s needs.

“Make it Happen” Tip:

Affirmations don’t work if you don’t say them! Write them down and post it on a mirror you check daily (like the one in your bathroom or on the way out the door).

Not a mirror person? Stick it on your car's dashboard, so you can meditate on them while you commute, or on your coffee pot and repeat them while you wait for it to brew.

When your mindset is positive and growth-focused, you become unstoppable. You've got this!
