I’ve been hoopin’ since I was five, back when my ponytail was crooked and Pacers jersey was too big. So, seeing the 2025 WNBA All-Star Weekend land right here in Indianapolis? This is the stuff little Hoosier girls dream of.
Indy is showing out for its first time hosting the league’s biggest weekend, packed with family fun, community events, and a whole lot of Hoosier pride. This weekend is considered to be the intersection of arts, sports, culture, and fashion.
Whether you're a diehard fan or just chasing your kids around downtown, there's something for you!

1. Snap a Pic with the Tamika Catchings Mural on Mass Ave
Mass Ave is honoring a legend with a Tamika Catchings mural. Strike a pose with the larger-than-life Tamika Catchings mural, created by Indiana-born artist Nate Baranowski. This 24-foot beauty isn’t just a photo op, it’s a teachable moment about Tamika’s legacy as a baller, businesswoman, and community powerhouse. A ribbon cutting is scheduled for Wednesday, July 16th.

2. WNBA All-Star Hosting Statewide Scavenger Hunt Across Indiana
The scavenger hunt is a trivia-based event taking place at 20 locations across 17 cities in Indiana. As the host city, Indianapolis will feature three of these locations. Mark your calendars and get your tickets for July 19 and head to White River State Park for Fever Fest—a high-energy outdoor concert featuring live music, comedy, and plenty of WNBA vibes. The WNBA’s “25 in 25” initiative highlights 25 women-owned Indianapolis businesses that earned special certification support this year. 7. Support Women’s Health at The All-Star Cure Event
This one’s for the mamas and aunties. On July 12–13, The All-Star Cure partners with the Komen Tissue Bank and Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center to advance breast cancer research through healthy tissue donation. It’s a meaningful way to give back and support the future of women’s health.
8. Visit the Style Zone – Where Hoops Meet Fashion
Fashion-forward tweens, teens, and moms—this one’s for you. In collab with Indiana Black Expo, the Style Zone (July 18–20) will feature pop-up fashion shows, style lounges, and WNBA-inspired retail. Come for the fashion, stay for the female empowerment.

Indy Community Market WNBA All-Star Edition
We are excited to be in collaboration with Pattern Inc., Find Indianapolis, and the Stutz building for a special WNBA ALL-STAR edition of the Indy Community Market! Taking place on Saturday, July 19 from 12-2 pm, this event will feature a variety of female founders. This event welcomes both vendors and community members free of charge. Additionally, Find Indianapolis will host a Speed FRIENDING event for women aged 35 and older. Stay tuned as we reveal the participating vendors. Join us to support Indy’s local businesses during the All-Star weekend.

All-Star Bounce:
On July 19th, youth ages 18 and under are invited to participate in the half-mile All-Star Bounce. There will be 2,500+ kids bouncing basketballs starting at the American Legion Mall and ending at Monument Circle. Participation in the All-Star Community Bounce is open to the public. Registration is capped at 2,500 and is currently full, but more spots will open up, and you can add your name to the waiting list here.
Upcoming YMCA Events: Celebrating Women in Sports
In partnership with the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU), WNBA All-Star Host Committee, and Servcom, the YMCA of Greater Indianapolis is excited to announce two special events leading up to the 2025 WNBA All-Star Weekend. These events include the "Lead the Way" Women in Coaching Mixer & Panel Discussion on Wednesday, July 16, and the AAU x "Play Like A Girl" Basketball Clinic on Thursday, July 17th. These events honor the crucial role of women in sports and aim to inspire the next generation of female athletes and leaders.
The Overtime Lounge
Fans can experience the Overtime Lounge (sponsored by Cheez-It and Delta) on Saturday, July 19th. The lounge is a FREE place for fans to come relax and participate in inclusive, interactive experiences and programming that celebrate the evolution, growth, and culture of women's basketball.
