1. "Mini" Swim Classes at Goldfish Swim School

CityMom Tiffany is a fan of this class - after all it's never to early to acclimate babies to the water! And while Infant Rescue Swim programs may be all the rage, Goldfish Swim School offers a gentle introduction to water through games, basic skills and bonding time with a parent. 2. Music Bunnies or Pups Classes with The Music Playhouse

Music Bunnies {0-6 months} and Music Pups {O-5 years} classes were high on CityMom Rachel's list. Both programs are designed for babies to create a special bond with you through the language of music. Families who enroll receive the current CD and Songbook Collection to continue enjoying the class activities at home. 3. Mother Goose On The Loose storytime with the Indianapolis Public Library

Babies, toddlers and preschoolers are invited regularly for this early literacy program at rotating branch locations. This program uses rhymes, songs, puppets and instruments to foster speech development, motor coordination, self-confidence and sensitivity to others. "I like the Mother Goose on the Loose class at the College Ave library - it's free and I can decide at the last minute if I’m going or not." says CityMom Kendra.

4. Anything at Little Village Playroom 

No seriously. Anything. Little Village Playroom boasts a schedule more packed than a high school senior's whose beefing their resume for college applications. From their sweet Itty Bitty Yogis class to the newly-added entertainment from Mr. Daniel, Little Village Playroom always has baby-appropriate fun on the calendar. 5. Baby Ninjas at The NinjaZone

NinjaZone feels Baby Ninjas - a program open to walkers-3 years - is the first step in creating confidence in young children. In an organized, yet playful structure, this parent and tot class is the perfect way to socialize your child, allow them to learn and understand what it means to follow instruction, and of course, get them moving. CityMom Jeanine has loved ninja classes for her CityKids: "If this has been around when mine were infants, I would have been there in a heartbeat."Locations: Multiple! 6. Baby Lab at Gymboree Play & Music

CityMom Ashley loves Gymboree, which offers plenty of class options for babies + tots. There's Baby Lab - available for 0-10 months - which offers tummy time, flashlight play, first songs and more. Family Music {6 months - 5 years} gets everyone musical through instruments, song, dance, and games, while building a solid foundation of musical skills. 7. Baby Boot Camp

Open to moms and babes ages 6 months and up, this fabulous, 60-minute, stroller fit-type class meets regularly at locations like Clay Terrace Mall, The Fashion Mall at Keystone, St. Vincent's Women's Hospital and more. Classes are led by local instructor - and CityMom! Hey girl! - Kara Babcock whose energy, love for her students and passion are just unmatched. 8. The Little Ones storytime at Carmel Clay Library

CityMom Rachel said "library programs are the best and FREE." And this class for littles at the Carmel Clay Library is no exception. Adults and toddlers {ages 12-24 months} actively share stories and songs during this bustling 20 minutes of singing, moving, seeing, hearing, handling, and rhyming together in the Library's main Storytime Room.Location: 55 4th Ave SE Carmel

9. Saturday drop-in rhythm class at Bongo Boy Music School

Eeeek! This class makes a monthly appearance on theCityMoms calendar and with good reasons: It's open to all ages {yes all!}, instructor Lisa is an absolute gem and their drop-in opp means it can be planned on all week or a last-minute decision. BBMS has plenty of drums, flags and other accessories to go around, and Lisa is perfect at reading a crowd and catering to everyone's interests.
