Is membership to CityMoms actually free?

Members interested in upleveling their experience with theCItyMoms have two VIP membership options available to them - a monthly subscription at $9.99/mo., or $99/year (a $20+ savings).

Can I cancel my membership at any time?

Absolutely. While we see most CityMoms members join and want to stay indefinitely, you have the option to cancel your membership at any time. Please note: We do not offer refunds on an annual membership cancelation. Monthly membership cancelations will allow you to complete the month for which you have already paid before canceling your service.

What is the “Hive?”

The Hive is our password-protected member portal that houses your membership account details, events calendar, perks, and more. This is only accessible to paid members of theCityMoms.

Who do I contact if I experience login issues?

How is my information kept safe?

We use Stripe to process all membership payments, and Eventbrite for all event payments. Both systems have a secure payment processor to ensure safety and security for members. All membership information is housed thru Squarespace Member Areas, which is maintained in separate servers. Read more at our Privacy Policy.

Is there an extra cost to participate in CityMoms events?

We offer a number of events throughout the year that are free to attend such as park playdates, hikes, movie premieres, etc. Select events such as dinners out with a group will require individual members to pay ala carte at the establishment. And other select premium events will charge an advanced fee to attend. Costs {if any} will be listed in the calendar of events, and on each event writeup on the member Hive.

Do I need a ticket to attend an event, or can I just show up?

For each event listed in the Hive, members must RSVP through our ticketing system. This informs our hosts you will attend, allows us to prep as needed for the group, and assures you are abiding by our stated member guidelines.

Will I be penalized if I’m not an active member with theCityMoms?

No. We recognize that each member customizes her experience with theCityMoms as she needs, so we do not require a certain amount of activity, attendance, or engagement by individual members.

How do I join theCityMoms Facebook group?

Active members are eligible to participate in our private, members-only Facebook community, and may submit a request to join here.

Can I gift a CityMoms membership?

I don’t live in the greater Indianapolis area where you are headquartered. Can I still join?

Absolutely - we have members from all across the country. All have access to our private 24/7 Facebook community for support (including our popular birth year chat groups), virtual events, our exclusive digital content + programming found on the Hive, and are welcome to join us out for in-person events any time they are in town.

I noticed event photography on your website. Do I have to appear in photos?

We do occasionally take photos at CityMoms-sanctioned events that may be shared across our social media channels, newsletter, or website. If you prefer not to be included in photos {or don’t want your child photographed}, simply let the event hostess know.
