About Windi:
Windi Hornsby is an experienced educator with over 20 years of teaching and medical education. As a former Safe Kids Indiana State Coordinator, Windi managed grant programs on Medication Safety and Bicycle & Pedestrian Safety. She's also a Child Passenger Safety Technician, Infant & Child Safety and Injury Prevention Specialist, and known for providing mother-to-mother support in breastfeeding. Windi is a local advocate for equity in education and resides in Indianapolis with her family and pets. When not running the PTO at her daughters' Spanish Immersion school, Windi spends her free time serving at Fire by the Monon and enjoying thrifting and golfing with friends.
