Top 5 performances to see in Indy this summer

Here are the top 5 outdoor performances to see in Indy this summer:
1. Rock the Ruins at Holliday Park
This regular summer concert series has a passionate fan base - regardless of the lineup! - and we’re already hearing rumors of possible sellouts. Peek tickets for big draws like Counting Crows and LeeAnn Rimes, or enjoy possible new-to-yous like Lake Street Drive and Trevor Hall. 2. Symphony on the Prairie
*An Indy-area staple* The family-friendly SotP returns to Conner Prairie June 24th-September 4th. From gorgeous symphonic sounds thanks to the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra to fun tribute bands, a night at the prairie is a must-see performance (First time?). More info.
3. WonderRoad
The idea of flitting around a Bonnaroo-ish festival in Indy is a reality this summer. WonderRoad arrives at Garfield Park June 11-June 12 starring a bunch of big names like Vampire Weekend, Lord Huron, and Bastille. Get your festival wear ready. More info.

4. The Indy Parks Concert (and Movie!) Series
From a special pop series to Jazz at the Beach to original music, the Indy Parks Concert Series graces six different park locations throughout the summer. Call their special hotline at 317-327-7053 for details or download the full schedule. This is one of the city’s favorite series. More info.
5. Anything at the Lawn at White River State Park
You might have missed the news during the pandemic (2020 to be exact!) - the TCU Amphitheater at White River State Park is now home to a permanent stage and covered seating area. It’s also home to a few fab performances coming thru Indy this summer - Wilco, Jack White, and The War On Drugs are all part of the lineup. Bonus? Plenty of parking. More info.
