10 Adorable Baby Valentine's Photo Shoot Ideas

OMG, one scroll thru Instagram this season, and I can already tell Valentine's will be the perfect occasion to capture a few memorable photos for your fam, especially when it's your baby's first Valentine's Day. I've seen so many baby photoshoot ideas over the last week, and thought they'd make a great roundup!

Here are some simple ideas to create a cute baby Valentine's photo shoot, whether a photo session with your favorite photographer or in a home photo shoot:

10 Adorable Baby Valentine's Photo Shoot Ideas:

1. Make an easy photo wall at home

I feel like so many cute ideas can come from picking up a few simple props at the store. For example, all.things.mari shows off this sweet (and easy!) photo wall made simply from three rows of heart balloons (or substitute red balloons in a pinch?) taped behind them. Add mom, dad, and a baby sandwiched in the middle and... voila!

2. Go for a few heart props

Speaking of simple props, this idea shared by BuyBuyBaby perfectly illustrates how easy it can also be to tape up a few paper hearts for a photo wall, use a faux red rose, and create a little magic with your Little Valentine. (But for real, this tie though!)

3. Pop in to your favorite store?

I mean so many stores anymore do a fabulous job of creating a quality color scheme in their holiday sections - as long as you aren't impeding traffic and keeping hands off the goods, I love the idea of snagging a few photos in your favorite store. Michael's craft store always has a fun section with Valentines Day garland, or maybe even something as simple as the stuffed animal aisle like yvetteg23.

4. Book a mini session with a professional photographer

So many photographers offer mini sessions anymore for holidays big (like Christmas) and small (like Valentine's Day). This outtake from lillysphoto is just a sample but most will setup the props and the vision for you, you just sign up and show up!

5. Big kisses for your little cupid

This was by far in large the biggest trend I spotted on IG - grab your little cutie, a tube of red lipstick, and kiss away! Mama danielle_lynn_'s baby girl makes it look so easy.

6. Style with a cute Valentine-themed onesie

Natasha.styler shows off her sweetheart in a "Little Heartbreak" onesie, with some simple Valentine's candy around her. Retailers like Target have the cutest themed baby clothes out there already, just purchase and snap away.

7. ...Or a cute sweater

Swooooon, this XOXO sweater from themodmango makes me wish it came in adult size, but it's the perfect photo inspo for a baby shoot. Love how vibrant the colors are and a simple white backdrop can just set it off perfectly.

8. ...Or maybe some even cuter pajamas?

You're catching on to our theme here - Valentine's Day themed clothes are the perfect path to an easy Valentine's themed photo shoot. And I'm loving this look from spearmintbaby.

9. You could also try neutrals

Thelplatemum shows off the absolute sweetest photo of her baby girl Daisy just hanging in her crib with her favorite lovey and... a lovey onesie. It's giving Valentines without being too "this is a complicated Valentine's Day photo shoot" feel.

10. A mom and me shoot is always a great idea

After all, you're always there for him/her, and deserve a little recognition too! Alexandrajlyons just screams "mod mama" in these outtakes from a shoot with her and her baby cupid.
