If you’ve been traveling along 86th and Keystone lately, the arrival of the Ironworks Hotel Indy at the corner is long-awaited. What was once a barren desert of former office complex wasteland has been transformed into a hip, chic corridor dotting must-do lists around the city.

We got a chance to peek the interior this past week and the Design*Sponge/Domino Magazine mod decor enthusiasts in all of us were bursting. From the vast, open lobby and meticulously outfitted guest rooms, we quickly ID’ed this locale as the perfect spot for a date night or MNO {more on that below}.

First, take a look at some of their gorgeous design details:

We spent so much time oogling the details that we forgot to snap a pic of the hotel’s front desk! Please accept this photo with credit due to TripAdvisor. All others are originals by us.

The front desk backdrop consists of tiles constructed from chicken wire. No seriously, look closer!

And then, there are the guest rooms. We oogled. We oohed. We instantly planned our stay in this suite:

Not to mention, the amenities onsite, from the newly-opened Rize {breakfast/lunch} to Provision {lunch/dinner} by the Cunningham Restaurant Group, a name you may remember thanks to BRU Burger, Vida, Mesh, and so many more.
